An Evening on the Park
You’re invited to join us for a cocktail party celebrating Greek language education on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The Rosebud. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
We are a volunteer-run organization and all funds raised go toward supporting Greek language education.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Chicago Greektown Educational Foundation’s mission is to support Greek language educational and cultural initiatives through the introduction of technology to enhance the learning experience for Greek American youth. We believe that when language and culture are preserved, children learn pride in themselves and respect for one another.
Since 2014, the Chicago Greektown Educational Foundation (CGEF) has dedicated itself to providing resources for Greek language education. From Smart Boards and learning stations to Chromebooks, CGEF has provided the resources to support Greek language programs in the Chicago area. Our goal is to expand our efforts and support Greek language programs across the United States. Fulfilling this goal furthers the mission of incorporating technology and educational initiatives into the learning process.
The Chicago Greektown Educational Foundation’s unique mission of bringing technology to Greek language education demonstrates our commitment to preserving our language and culture for future generations. We are investing in the brainpower of our Greek American youth.
With your generosity, we can together make a meaningful impact in our Greek communities, not only to preserve our language and heritage, but also to demonstrate its continued importance in today’s society.
Tickets can be purchased here or at the door by credit card or check.
